Goals of our project See also about us. - Development and testing of a 2000 N Hybrid Rocket Engine with Paraffin as Fuel and Nitrous Oxide ( N2O ) as oxidizer.
- Concurrent developmentof a portable test stand for Engines with more than 5000 N thrust.
- Calculation, measurement and verification of all properties of the Engine, especially modelling of the oxidizer-supply with Nitrous Oxide.
- Development of a lighter Engine and a Rocket for it.
- Study the reignitability of the engine.
- Influence of different paraffin waxes on the performance and investigation of special fuel mixtures to increase the performance.
